Our Story: From a small website to the global reference 🌍 for sending anonymous SMS

Here Antoine 👋, founder of the site Anonymous SMS.

If you’re here, it’s probably for the same reason I was back then: to send a message online, completely anonymously.

And I faced the same obstacles you did… Impossible to find a reliable solution ❌.

I was just looking to send a discreet text, without revealing my personal number. But I was confronted with the harsh reality: no product offered such a service properly.

I therefore set myself the mission to address this need, so that once again, we can have the freedom to express ourselves discreetly without it being a hassle.

🤔 The observation: How to find a reliable solution?

At that time, I remember checking out the existing solutions online and I was very disappointed…

There were only sites with dubious interfaces, filled with ads, scams, and the worst part was the little trust they inspired in me. For them, privacy didn’t seem to be an important issue.

All these sites were (and still are) unstable, even messages didn’t get through… 📉 I couldn't imagine entrusting them with a important message, no way!

There was a lack of a serious, clean, and professional anonymous SMS sending service on the market.

💻 The solution of a passionate developer

It just so happened that, being a developer and having a lot of free time at that moment, I thought: “What if I could solve the problem?” 💡

If the ideal solution didn't exist, I had to create it. I decided to tackle the problem head-on with a clear mission: to develop the platform I wished I had found that day.

A secure, discreet, privacy-respecting web SMS platform that is technically flawless.

⏳ Two years of research and development.

When I started, I naively thought it would be a project that would last a few weeks, but it turned into a two-year technical odyssey! Creating a reliable anonymous SMS sending system turned out to be a complex challenge. I had to:

🔐 Secure the encryption protocols to ensure complete anonymity for our users.
📡 Negotiate with global telecom operators to ensure maximum message deliverability.
⚡ Optimize the interface to make it as simple and quick to use as possible.

Two full years of hard work were necessary, countless litres of coffee, nights spent debugging, to finally arrive at a reliable and robust solution.

🌐 Today: A team and a product present in 64 countries.

Today I am no longer alone; I am surrounded by a wonderful team 🤝 who work daily to make our product as useful as possible for you, dear users.

Together, we have worked this year 2025 to make the service available internationally by launching it in over 64 countries!
